We are searching for candidates who want to join the best team in the world at providing creative customer solutions and with all necessary resources to fulfill strong customer commitments.
The Regional Transportation Sales Manager is an individual contributor role. The successful candidate will have a passion for customer service and innovative solutions. We are searching for sales candidates with a strong track record of truckload, LTL and/or intermodal sales. The role is to sell transportation services to small and mid-size regional customers plus long haul truckload. The sales territory will be within 500 miles of a home office. This is a new position and was created due to high demand & high growth for the company. Minimum requirements include:
-- 3-7 yrs proven sales experience in truckload, LTL and/or Intermodal services
-- 4 yr undergrad degree
-- Strong customer relationship skills with a specific ability to sell to "C" level decision makers
-- Sales force automation tools experience
-- Effective selling techniques in person, via phone and through electronic communication
-- Strong organizational skills
-- Passion for excellence
The successful candidate will have developed a book of business in the local area and have strong geographical knowledge of the competition, local economic trends, shippers/receivers, etc. No relocation.
